Visitor Pass Ballot FAQ

Due to expected high demand, Visitor Passes for the Ashes Test will be conducted via a ballot, this will ensure all 1885 Club and Champions Club Members are given an opportunity to bring family, friends and business associates to this premium fixture.  

These changes apply to the 2025–26 season only and help ensure every 1885 Club and Champions Club Member can make the most of a very special summer. 

The ballot will be open from 1:00pm AWST on Wednesday 13 August to 5:00pm AWST Tuesday 19 August 2025.

You can apply for Visitor Passes for Days 1-4 of the Ashes Test match.

Visitor Passes for Day 5 will be available for purchase at the conclusion of play on Day 4 via your Member Portal (subject to state of play).

1885 Club Members can apply for one (1) Visitor Pass per Member per day.

Champions Club Members can apply for two (2) Visitor Passes per Member per day.

If you are successful, the Visitor Pass will be pre-loaded into your Member Portal and you will be notified by Wednesday 27 August 2025 to make payment.

If you are unsuccessful for some or all of your application, should additional Visitor Passes become available you will be contacted via email.

Yes, the ballot is free to enter. You will only be charged the full amount for Visitor Passes if you are successful in obtaining these.

All ballot applications will be randomised and Visitor Passes will be allocated in order of available preference.

No, to be eligible to apply for Visitor Passes you will need to ensure you have renewed your membership for the 2025-26 season. You can view your invoice for the 2025-26 season via your Member Portal.

No, only Members are allowed to apply for the ballot. Guest card holders are not eligible.
